To recruit eligible candidates for the post of lower division clerks (LDC), postal assistants (PA), data entry operators (DEO), and sorting assistants (SA), SSC conducts CHSL examination. To apply for this exam, the candidates should have passed their (10 + 2) or an equivalent examination from a Recognized University or board. The examination is held in three stages on various centers allotted by SSC.

For LDC/ JSA, PA/ SA, DEO (except DEOs in C&AG): Passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
For Data Entry Operator (DEO) in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG): Passed 12th Standard in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.
Age Relaxation:
The minimum age requirement should be 18 years and maximum 27 as on Aug 01, 2020. There is age relaxation of 5 years for those who belong to SC and ST category and 3 years for OBC category. For Physically Handicapped, it is 13 years and for PH plus PBC, it is 13 years. In addition to this, 15 years age relaxation for those who belong to PH plus SC and ST category
Those who are interested in applying for SSC CHSL 2020 Form can opt for applying via offline or online mode both. Before applying for the examination, ensure to go through the eligibility criteria. Candidates can apply using online mode and for this make ultimate use of the website http://ssc.online.nic.in OR http://ssconline2.gov.in.
Those who are convenient with the offline mode need to collect the application form from the sale centre or prescribed office or via pose. Candidates need to send required documents with the duly signed application form to SSC or before the last date.
Application fee: Those who are applying for online mode can make payment via SBI bank challan. Challan can be downloaded, printed, and submitted at the CBS branch of State bank of India or internet banking. The nominal charges included in the internet banking mode of the payment.
Candidates are required to make payment of Rs 100/- as the application fee via CRF stamps. Stamps need to get canceled before applying in the form if the application is not accepted. However, female candidates and reserved category are exempted from the fee.
The SSC examination will be commenced every year. Those who are appearing for the examination can download the admit card from the official website of SSC which will release in the month of September. Make sure for availing the admit card and carry it at the exam centre otherwise candidate will not be permitted to appear in the exam
